Calcium provides strong bone development during the younger years and the acquired bone density needed to get us through our later years. Osteoporosis causes bones to become brittle and fragile and affects one out of four women and one out of eight men over 50 years of age in Canada. Although calcium is the central mineral in bone mineralization, magnesium supports healthy bones. Calcium Magnesium with Zinc Easy Absorption, Krebs Cycle, is recommended for those with low stomach acid, such as the elderly.
